Success through consistency along the entire LEAN line - or how a tractor made production in special-purpose machinery manufacturing efficient on a consistent basis.

How can manufacturing companies be competitive in a high-wage country like Germany? The answer is actually very simple: effective and efficient processes in production and in-house logistics supply are absolutely key. So far, so good. The necessity and the goal have thus been identified. Putting it briefly: how does a company develop a cutting edge, state-of-the-art production?

Sebastian Jost talks about these milestones, among others:

  • • Creating a concept for production optimisation in a new building
  • • Introduction of flow production for machines with dimensions of up to 4 x 12 m
  • • Optimisation of logistics and production control
  • • Reorganising the development and design of machines
  • • Development of software (LOP 4.0) for digitally supporting shop floor management – from design to acceptance
